The step by step process of drawing a little cartoon penguin is as follows:
- Draw an oval at the top of the sheet. It should be slightly elongated horizontally. This will be the bird's head.
- Draw another oval. It should be elongated vertically. It is located under the oval that was drawn earlier. At the same time, its upper part should slightly intersect with the lower part of the previously drawn oval. The lower oval should be slightly larger in size: this will be the penguin's body, which is always larger than the head.
- Since the 2 ovals intersect with each other, extra lines are formed that need to be erased. The upper part of the lower oval and the lower part of the upper oval are subject to erasure - everything that is within the common contour formed by the 2 ovals.
- Change the shape of the lower oval. You need to erase its lower part and draw a wavy line with 1 wave on top and 2 waves on the freed space. The bird's legs will be drawn here.
- Draw the wings. To do this, draw symmetrical lines on the left and right that form the necessary contours. The lines that designate the wings start from the head, not far from the intersection of the two ovals. The lines go down diagonally, then diverge in different directions (right wing to the right, left to the left), then turn sharply and smoothly pass to the body.
- Delete the lines that will be superfluous in this drawing. As a result, only a simple outline should remain. The upper part of the body and the lower part of the head next to the wings should be deleted.
- Draw another outline inside the main one. This will be the outline of the coloring, which is one of the main features of the penguin.
- The inner contour should be represented by 3 shapes connected to each other - 2 small circles and 1 large oval.
- All 3 figures are correctly placed inside the main outline. 2 small circles - in the upper part of the drawing, which will become the head of the bird. Under these 2 small circles, draw a large oval, elongated vertically: from top to bottom. The oval should be located in the lower part of the drawing - in the body of the penguin.
- Draw the lower limbs of the bird. Each paw of the penguin in this example will be an inverted crown. They are located at the bottom - under the wavy line. There should be no other elements on the penguin's legs.
- Draw the details of the little penguin's face. There are 3 of them, and 2 of them are identical. One of the details is the nose, which looks like a triangle, but its corners are not sharp, but rounded. The top of the triangle is directed downwards.
- Above the nose, you need to draw 2 eyes. Each eye is a pair of small ovals. One oval in this pair is the eye, and the other, located inside the oval, is the pupil. The left and right eyes should be located symmetrically.
- Color the drawing. The penguin's face and belly should be left white, the feathers on the sides should be made black. The lines drawn inside the main outline will help color the drawing. Everything that is within these lines (within the inner outline) remains white, and the rest of the penguin's feathered body should be black. The pupils should also be colored black. You can add a couple of dots on the beak. These will be the nostrils. The beak itself should be yellow. The penguin's feet should be the same color.
After coloring, the cartoon penguin drawing is complete.
Funny penguin
To draw you will need a simple pencil with a sharpener and eraser, as well as several colored pencils:

Using your imagination, you can place the eyes, eyebrows and beak in different ways. These details of the drawing can be of different sizes and be at different distances from each other. The main thing is to follow the basic rule: the eyebrows are always on top, the beak is below, and the eyes are in the middle.
- Color the resulting drawing. Here, too, you can act, showing your imagination. For example, make the wings blue, the head and body light blue, and the paws and beak yellow. The belly and eyes should be left white. Make the pupils and eyebrows black.

- Draw the details of the bird's "face". These will be the eyes, represented by several ovals, and the beak located underneath them.

- Make a sketch of the wing and legs. Since the penguin is in profile, only 1 of its wings is visible – the left one. Both legs should be drawn.
- Draw the missing elements of the head. 1 eye, neck and an additional line for the beak should be drawn.
- To make it clear that the penguin is somewhere at the edge of the world, the drawing should be supplemented with elements indicating a harsh climate. This will be an ice floe on which the penguin stands with his feet, and the top of an iceberg is flaunted nearby.
