Used by artists unusual drawings for copying, can be not only multi-component images, but also simple sketches. Such sketches can be created with a simple pencil, pen, watercolor and even gouache.
They are often used to decorate notebooks, and when transferred to a large sheet of paper, they can also be used in the decoration of residential and commercial premises.
Unusual drawings
Unusual drawings for copying vary in complexity depending on the tool used by the artist to copy it.
Unusual drawings for copying - an example of a girl with hair
For example, using a simple pencil (in comparison with watercolor or gouache) you can draw a more complex image, since, if necessary, a person can correct errors using an eraser.
With a pencil
The easiest way to draw is with a pencil:

Algorithm for creating it on a sheet of paper
In the upper part of the plane, draw 2 identical triangles at a small distance from each other.
Connect them with a semicircle extended downwards (the cat's body).
At the base of the body, draw 2 small identical triangles (hind legs).
In the middle of the inner surface of the drawing, depict 2 equal semicircles with a downward bend (front paws).
From the right side at the bottom, draw a small semicircle, then fill its inner space with several dark stripes (tail).
Above the tail, in the inner part of the image, draw 2 small black semicircles (the color of the animal's skin).
From the horizontal line connecting the 2 upper triangles (the cat's ears), draw 3 thick black stripes pointing downwards (the color of the animal's skin).
Step back 3-7 cm and draw 2 small black circles (eyes) at the same distance from each other.
Between the eyes, using a short vertical line and a semicircle, depict the animal’s nose and mouth.
At eye level, closer to the edges of the drawing, draw the cat's whiskers using horizontal lines.
Using a smoothly curved line, draw a semicircle curved upwards at the top of the sheet of paper.
Draw the lower part of the figure as a straight horizontal line.
Draw a small heart inside the right border of the image.
Shade the inside of the cloud, leaving only the heart unshaded.
Under the created picture, depict several identical stars, as if falling from the drawn cloud.
From the middle of the right boundary of the plane, draw 2 parallel lines directed diagonally to the lower left corner.
Fill the distance between the parallels with shaded ovals and semicircles (spots on the giraffe's skin).
Taking the edge of the lower parallel as the middle of the figure, draw a small oval located horizontally.
Inside the oval, draw 2 small circles, colored inside, and a short horizontal line at the bottom edge of the figure.
Draw a semicircle with an upward bend to the upper border of the oval.
Having determined the middle of the semicircle, draw 2 small circles inside (the eyes of the animal).
On each side of the semicircle, draw elongated ovals (ears), then, having determined the middle of the distance between them, draw 2 identical triangles with 2 short lines directed randomly (giraffe horns).

Algorithm for creating it on a sheet of paper
Using a pencil, draw a rectangle at the bottom of the sheet of paper, placing it vertically.
Visually divide the inner part of the rectangle into 2 halves, then draw 2 parallel lines in the middle at a distance of 3-5 cm from each other.
Fill the space between the parallels with the word "galaxy" (from English "Universe" or "Galaxy").
Step back 1-3 cm from the bottom border of the rectangle and draw a horizontal line using a parallel line.
Shade the inner part between the border and the parallel line.
Draw a triangle on the upper border of the rectangle, the upper corner of which should be located in the middle of the edge.
Draw a small square from the top corner of the triangle.
Schematically derive a circle from the square.
Fill the inside of the circle with purple, blue, light blue, white and lilac watercolors, mixing them together.
Draw a circle, filling most of the workspace.
Divide the inner surface of the circle with a horizontal blue line so that the upper and lower parts are equal.
Draw a circle in the middle of the top part.
Paint the upper area with blue and light blue watercolors, leaving the circle white.
Paint the lower part of the main figure with blue watercolors, smearing the lower and side borders.
Draw several white lines at the dividing line in a downward direction, located at a randomly chosen distance from each other (reflection of the moon).
To add realism to an image by painting certain areas of the drawing with a more saturated color compared to the background shade.
At the bottom border of the plane, draw a semicircle with a downward bend, equal in length to the size of the sheet of paper used.
Step back 5 cm from the semicircle and draw a triangle, the upper corner of which is positioned closer to the upper boundary of the plane.
Use green watercolor paint to add volume to the semicircle.
Fill the inner part of the triangle with diluted red or scarlet watercolor, smearing the lower border of the figure towards the semicircle.
Draw the side and part of the lower border of the triangle with a more saturated shade.
Draw small identical black ovals (watermelon seeds) in a random order.

Algorithm for creating it on a sheet of paper
Determine the center of the lower boundary of the working plane.
In this part, draw approximately several semicircles of different sizes with blurred contours, connected to each other.
Paint the inner area of the semicircles with black gouache, drawing thin lines in a chaotic manner from outside the borders of the figures.
On the outside, shade the borders of the black figures with blue gouache.
From the largest semicircle, draw 2 vertical lines that exactly repeat each other's curves (tree trunk). Draw diagonal curves in several places along the length of the main verticals (tree branches).
Paint the space between the lines with black gouache.
Fill the upper area, above the tree branches and trunk, with strokes of blue gouache mixed with white paint.
Using the appropriate technique, place blue splashes all over the surface of the sheet next to the central object of the image.
Draw an even circle of such a size that it fills most of the working surface.
From the side borders of the figure, draw a semicircle that intersects the main object (orbit).
Paint the inside of the circle with multi-colored gouache, using combinations of blue, light blue, pink, yellow, purple and lilac paints.
To the left of the central figure in orbit, draw a small triangle (the girl's legs).
Above the small triangle, draw an inverted triangle, 2-3 times larger than the lower one (the body).
Draw a small circle (the girl’s head) to the upper corner of the figure.
From the side borders of the large triangle, draw 2 elongated triangles, located horizontally, approximately corresponding in size to the size of the lower figure (the girl’s hand).
Around the girl’s head, at a distance of 1-3 cm, draw a curved line with chaotic bends (hair outline).
Paint the space between the head and the hairline with black gouache.
Use a horizontal line with randomly placed smooth curves to mark the boundaries of the two parts of the image so that the upper area is twice as large as the lower area.
Outline the border with black gouache.
Step back 5-7 cm from the dividing horizontal line, then draw another horizontal curved line (the outline of the tree crowns).
Paint the distance between the two lines with blue gouache, marking the outlines of the trees with vertical strokes.
Paint the upper part of the image with blue and yellow gouache, mixing in certain areas of the drawing.
Paint the bottom blue, and draw a round shape with an uneven yellow outline in the center.
Dog Drawing for Sketchbook
Unusual drawings for copying are often used to fill a sketchbook. One of the most popular images is considered to be the image of a dog in various variations.

Algorithm for creating it on a sheet of paper
Using light pressure on the pencil, draw a horizontal line so that the resulting plane is divided into 2 parts, where the lower one is half the size of the upper one.
From the dividing line, draw a semicircle with an upward bend (the dog's body).
At the intersection point of the horizontal and the semicircle on the right side, draw 2 semicircular lines that exactly repeat each other’s outline, at a distance of 1-2 cm from each other (the dog’s tail).
At the top edge of the figure, at the same distance from each other, depict 2 small identical dots (front paws raised up).
Draw an oval on top of the semicircle, placing it horizontally.
Draw 2 identical small circles inside the oval at the bottom, the inner part of which should be half painted in a dark color.
Between the circles at the bottom, draw a larger circle, then paint it black (the dog’s nose and mouth).
On each side of the oval, draw a small dark rectangle directed away from the main figure (the dog’s ears).
Draw a perfect circle in the center of the plane, then draw perpendicular lines around its interior.
Extend the vertical line 1 cm beyond the boundaries of the main figure.
Draw an oval located horizontally to the extreme point of the vertical line.
Using the key figures as a guide, draw the outline of the dog's body, head, ears and paws.
Draw an elongated oval (tail) at the bottom of the left border.
On a horizontal line, draw 2 identical small circles, the inner part of which should be half-colored (eyes).
On the vertical line, draw a small black oval (the dog's nose).
Delete secondary lines and then re-draw the outline of the image.
Draw an oval with minimal extension, placing it slightly diagonally.
Step back 1-2 cm from the oval and draw a triangle with a rounded upper corner.
At the top of the inner surface of the oval, draw 2 small identical circles (eyes).
From the intersection angle of the base and the right side of the triangle, draw a maximally elongated oval, pointed at the end (the dog's tail).
On each side of the main oval, draw another rounded oval, located diagonally (ears).
Draw a circle around one of the eyes.
Draw a small oval between the eyes at the bottom, placing it horizontally (the animal’s nose).
Draw a vertical oval (protruding tongue) under the nose.
Connect the main shapes of the image, then color the drawing of the dog.
Unicorn
For copying, the most unusual drawing chosen as the source is the image of a unicorn. It can be done in several variations.
Image for copying
Algorithm for creating it on a sheet of paper
Draw a semicircle with a deep downward curve so that it fills most of the work plane.
Draw 2 small black dots (nostrils) inside the semicircle at the bottom.
Above the nostrils, inside the borders of the semicircle, draw 2 more small identical semicircles, repeating the outlines of the main contour.
Along the entire length of the small semicircles, draw short vertical lines directed randomly (eyelashes).
From the right extreme point of the semicircle, draw a curve towards the left side of the outline. Draw 3 more lines, exactly repeating the outlines of the first, placing them at a distance of 2-3 cm from each other (unicorn's bangs).
On the right side, close the intersection point of the lines with a medium-sized bow.
Behind the bangs and behind the bow, on each side, draw 2 triangles, placing them one after the other in increasing size of the figure (unicorn ears). The final objects should be the same size.
Between the ears, draw an elongated triangle, the inner surface of which is filled with diagonal lines located parallel to each other (horn).
Draw several small stars near the horn.
Draw a large triangle, placing it horizontally. The left corner of the figure should be rounded, and the right side should be missing.
Step back 3-5 cm from the left corner, then draw a smoothly curved vertical line.
In the area between the right corner and the line, draw a small black circle (nose).
Inside the triangle, draw an even circle, inside which draw another one, but half the size of the main figure.
From the upper boundary of the circle, draw 3 lines directed in different directions.
Make the lower border of the figure more rounded and shorten it, then draw a diagonal line from its extreme point to the lower left corner.
From the extreme point of the diagonal, draw another straight line towards the upper right corner.
Draw a smaller elongated triangle (horn) on top of the main triangle.
Fill the space between the extreme points of the main lines with semicircles located at approximately the same distance from each other (mane).
Geometric drawings
Images intended for copying, based on geometric figures, can also look unusual.
Image for copying
Algorithm for creating it on a sheet of paper
Draw 2 triangles at the same distance from each other.
Divide the inner part of each of the figures in half with a straight line.
Connect the extreme points of the triangles with a horizontal line.
Make the lower borders of the figures curved so that the bends on both triangles exactly repeat each other.
From the bottom points of the triangles, draw 2 identical vertical lines.
Find the midpoint of the distance between the lines. Place a point there.
Draw diagonals from the lines to the point. The result should be the outline of the cat's muzzle with ears.
Find the middle of the connecting horizontal line between the ears.
Draw an elongated rhombus from the middle, placing it strictly vertically.
At the base of the rhombus, inside the figure, draw a small black heart.
To the right and left of the corners of the rhombus, draw another small rhombus, placing them horizontally. Inside these figures, draw circles (the cat's eyes).
Fill the inner surface of the image with symmetrical lines that form angular geometric shapes of various sizes.
In the center of the working plane, draw a large, even circle (the body).
Draw a medium-sized triangle (chicken wing) inside the circle.
From the top point of the circle, stepping back 3-5 cm along the border to the right and down, draw another circle, half the size of the first (head).
Inside the circle, closer to the right edge, draw a small circle, the inner area of which must be half-colored (the eye).
Draw several straight lines (eyelashes) directed chaotically upwards on top of the eye.
Draw a small triangle (beak) on the outside of the right border line of the head.
Draw a small triangle under the main figure, the upper corner of which touches the edge of the circle.
From the top point of the main circle, stepping back 3-5 cm to the left along the border and down, draw an equilateral triangle, one of the corners of which should be on the edge of the circle (tail).
Divide the inner surface of the tail into 2 equal shapes using a vertical line.
Draw an isosceles triangle with its upper corner pointing to the upper right corner of the work plane.
Draw a large rectangle at the base of the triangle, also placing it diagonally.
Inside the rectangle, draw 2 equal circles at the same distance from each other.
Draw 1 triangle on each outer side of the rectangle, one of the edges of which should fit tightly against the side of the rectangle.
From the bottom border of the rectangle, draw a small triangle so that its corner is located on the border of the figure.
Any drawings for further copying should be selected based not only on the interests and individual preferences of the artist, but also on his level of training.
It is a mistake to think that beginners are forced to create only the simplest images and only with a pencil. Even without special skills, a person, with the correct organization of the work process, will be able to draw an unusual picture with markers, colored pencils, watercolors or even gouache.
