To make a funny owl for scissors we will need:
- paper of any color;
- fabric (preferably thick felt);
- a small piece of felt of a different color and buttons (for eyes);
- several pieces of felt of different colors;
- scissors;
- threads, needle.
First we will draw a pattern, for this we take the scissors for which we sew a cover and measure the middle of the scissors on paper. 
The shape of the owl in this case is thin and has ears. You can make the shape at your own discretion. 
On paper we draw a wing, we need it to fix the scissors in the pocket. Therefore, when drawing the wing, do not go all the way to the blade of the scissors on the pattern.
We fold the sheet with the drawing in half at the place where we marked the line at the beginning and cut it out. 
Now we trace another outline of the owl on another sheet of paper and cut everything out. 
We cut out the owl's eye and wing from one paper pattern. Now we transfer the paper patterns to the fabric and cut them out. As a result, we should get the details as in the photo.
Sew white felt to the owl's body (gray) to make the whites of the eyes.
Sew pupil buttons or black felt on top. For the future pocket, you need to sew two parts together. Decorate the owl's belly as you wish. Now we can outline the wings, and as a result, we already have blanks for an owl cover made of fabric.
We take a felt tummy blank and sew it to the part where we sewed the owl's face. We sew it with a forward stitch, using contrasting threads. As a result, we get a pocket, then we glue the paws and beak - an orange triangle for the owl.
Sew the paws at the bottom and you can strengthen the place where the tips of the scissors will fall. To do this, glue the place, and then sew additionally on top, it will be more reliable.
Once everything is fixed, you can take the second part made of grey felt and sew it on.
In addition, you can sew a tail to the owl. All points, such as ears, top and bottom of the wings should be additionally reinforced with glue. This is necessary because the stitches are wide, and there is a possibility that the felt may come apart.
