Drawing is an interesting and exciting process. One of popular drawings among children - a heart in various variations. If, for example, you add wings to it, they will add lightness and beauty to the image. There are many ways to implement such an idea: from simple ones that require drawing a few lines to complex works that will take the artist several hours.

Easy Heart Drawing with Wings

To work on the image of a heart hovering in the air, you need to prepare red and blue colored pencils, pens or felt-tip pens.

The stages of drawing are as follows:

Use the red tool to draw one of the halves of the heart – right or left. To do this, draw a line that looks like a big question mark, but without a dot at the bottom. If this is the left part of the heart, then the “question mark” should be mirrored.
Draw the second half of the heart in the same way as described above, only in the other direction.
Add blue wings to the heart. There should be one on each side - left and right. Each wing is an extended arc line. The left wing extends to the left, and the right wing - accordingly, to the right.
Add one more under the drawn wings. They are drawn in the same way, but should be smaller in size than the upper ones.
Add the third pair of wings, which are located at the very bottom. They should be the smallest in size.
Colour the image. The heart should be red and its wings blue.

To make the drawing more beautiful and realistic, you can draw:

Inside the wings are feathers, represented by several transverse wavy blue lines.
There are many small wingless hearts around the winged heart floating in the air. However, there should not be too many of them: 10 pieces will be enough.

With a pencil

A heart with wings (the drawing will be symmetrical if everything is done correctly) can be made with a pencil as follows:

1	Make a sketch of the halves of the heart	Draw two circles of the same size on paper that slightly intersect each other. One circle should be on the left side of the sheet of paper, and the other on the right. The right side of the left circle slightly extends beyond the left side of the right circle. The upper parts of the circles are necessary to create beautiful symmetrical edges of the winged heart. Those parts that will make up the main drawing can be made a little thicker. When drawing lines that are subject to erasure, do not press hard on the pencil. To draw circles, you can use a compass or any suitable sized round objects that you have at hand.
2	Draw a cross	Draw 2 perpendicular lines so that their intersection point is located in the center of the intersection of the circles. In this case, you should try to draw the vertical line further down. Its upper part is not needed for the drawing.
3	Draw the bottom of the heart	From the extreme intersection points of the horizontal line and the circles, draw a pair of smooth symmetrical lines down. They should be symmetrical relative to the vertical line and connect to each other at its lowest point. The artist must decide for himself where the lowest point will be. Depending on how vertically elongated he wants to make the heart, the lowest point will be located higher or lower. The lower the point, the longer the heart will be.
4	Perform image adjustments	To do this you need: Finish drawing the top of the heart by tracing the tops of the circles to their connection point at the top. Use the eraser to remove the lines that were used as guides. To show that the heart is not flat, but has rounded shapes, you can draw a small highlight on the left or right, presented in the form of a thin crescent.
5	Draw wings	You can draw elongated arc lines on the left and right, this will create simple wings. If you make them more sweeping and refined, you should make a frame for the future wings, having previously chosen the optimal ratio of the sizes of the heart and its future wings. The best option is for each wing to be slightly larger than the heart itself. As with the heart, auxiliary lines are drawn first. A large arc begins in the lower left part of the heart, which, rounding upwards, rushes to the left. The same arc is drawn on the right side symmetrically to the left. As a result, it should turn out that both large arcs will end at the points located to the left and right of the heart a few centimeters above it. All that remains is to finish drawing the upper part of the wings. To do this, lines are drawn from the upper points of both large arcs to the heart itself: from the left arc to the left edge of the heart, and from the right arc - respectively, to the right.
6	Form feathers on the wings	It is possible to make each wing consist of 8-10 feathers. To do this, a series of small elongated arches is drawn along the large arc lines that form the lower edges of the wings. Those that are located closer to the heart should be slightly smaller. As you approach the edges of the wings, the feathers should increase in size.
7	Complete the image	To do this you need: delete the auxiliary lines that were used for construction; draw along the main lines again with a pencil to make them more distinct; add details to the image. You can add many small feathers to the upper part of the wings by drawing several short and long wavy lines; Draw a ring on the heart and add a couple of fluttering ribbons at the bottom.

With big wings

A heart with wings (the design can be multi-level) can resemble the sweep of a soaring eagle. To do this, you need to increase the rows of feathers of the heart.

The stages of drawing are as follows:

Draw a heart.
Add a sketch of wings to the heart. Leave as much empty space as possible on the sheet of paper for them. The wingspan should be huge.
Perform multi-level formation of feathers. For example, you can make 3 levels. The bottom one will be the largest, and with increasing height the size should decrease.
Start drawing the feathers. It is best to start with the smaller ones, which should be located closer to the heart. Then draw the larger feathers located on the edges of the wings.

You can complement the resulting drawing with a small ring that hovers above the heart – between its wings.

Drawing by cells

Symmetrical drawings are easier to create. Imagination is required only for one half, while the other is drawn by analogy.

To depict a winged heart in cells, you need to prepare the following pencils:

black;
red;
blue.

Instead, you can take the appropriate pens or felt-tip pens. You will also need a notebook sheet 61 cells wide and 24 cells high. First, you need to find the middle of such a sheet - a vertical row of cells that will have the 31st number, if you count from the left or right. The entire drawing will be symmetrical relative to this row.

The stages of drawing are as follows:

Step back from the central vertical stripe by 1 cell to the left and paint a horizontal row of 4 cells black. Do the same on the right side.
Combine the 2 resulting rows of cells. To do this, paint 3 cells between them - 2 are located 1 row below, and the 3rd is even lower, in the 3rd row, on the central vertical line.
Paint 1 cell, which is located 1 row to the left and below the left 4-cell horizontal row. 1 row to the left and below it begins a vertical strip consisting of 5 cells.
From the drawn strip, lower a diagonal row of 7 cells to the right and down.
By analogy with the two previous steps, draw the right half of the heart.
Leave some space on the left side of the heart for a highlight. It should be represented by 6 cells. 1 of them is on the 3rd horizontal row (counting from the top) at a distance of 1 cell from the left 5-cell vertical strip (from the left edge of the heart). The highlight will be 2 cells located to the right and below it. The 6th cell of the highlight is located in the 7th horizontal row (counting from the top) on the same vertical row where the 1st one is.
Color the heart. You will need red color for this. Everything within the black outline, except for the 6 highlight cells, is subject to coloring.
Draw big wings on the heart. From the left corner of the left side line, paint 2 cells black so that you get a small 2-cell horizontal strip. Then from it, go up diagonally 3 cells up and to the left. Here, draw a small vertical 2-cell strip.
Draw 3 horizontal lines. One of them is 2 cells long and starts from the vertical 2-cell stripe you just drew. The next horizontal line is 6 cells long. It starts slightly to the left and above the 2-cell horizontal stripe you just drew. The 3rd line is 4 cells long. It starts slightly to the left and above the 6-cell stripe.
Make the tip of the wing. To do this, draw 1 horizontal 2-cell stripe, located slightly to the left and above the recently drawn 4-cell stripe.
Slightly to the left and above the new 2-cell strip, paint one cell. And to the left and above this cell, paint another 1 cell. To the left and below it, a long vertical 5-cell strip begins, going from top to bottom. To the right and below the lower end of this strip, a 4-cell vertical strip begins.
Lower the wing further. To the right and below the lower end of the previous strip, paint 1 cell. To the right and below it - another 1. To the right and below - a small vertical row of 2 cells. To the right and below - 2 more cells, arranged in a diagonal row.
Make a bend. You need to paint the cells of the letter "G" turned 90 degrees clockwise (consisting of 4 cells). To the right and below there is another painted cell, and to the right and below it there is a horizontal 5-cell row. Now you can go up: to the right and above the right end of the 5-cell row just drawn - 1 painted cell.
Draw another 4-cell horizontal row, located to the right and below the single dot you just filled in.
Paint 2 more cells to create a small diagonal connecting the wing to the heart itself.
Draw the outline of the wing and bring out the feathers. To do this, you need to draw several lines inside the outline. Then the numbers indicate which cells should be painted.

The horizontal rows are counted from the top, and the cells in them are numbered from left to right:

in the 7th horizontal row you need to paint the 12th cell;
in the 8th row, all cells from 4th to 11th are painted;
in the 9th and 10th rows, the 15th cell must be painted;
in the 11th row – the 13th and 16th cells;
in the 12th row – the 11th, 12th and 17th cells;
in the 13th row – 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th and 18th cells;
in the 14th row – the 16th, 19th and 20th cells;
in the 15th row only the 15th cell;
in the 16th row – the 13th, 14th and 19th cells;
in the 17th row – the 11th, 12th and 19th cells;
in the 18th row – the 18th cell.

Similarly, draw the right wing, which should be symmetrical to the left.
Paint all empty cells within both wings blue.

With wings and a halo

A heart with wings (the design can be supplemented with glow) and a halo is done as follows:

Draw a heart in the center of the sheet.
Draw wings to the heart. In this example, they are simple, but 5-level. The simplicity lies in the fact that each level is represented by one elongated and rounded arc line (or an elongated rounded semi-oval). The lower arcs should be the smallest. As the height increases, they become larger.
Add a small halo in the form of a ring above the heart. To do this, draw a horizontally elongated oval, and inside it - another, smaller one.

The finished drawing can be colored using:

red color – for the heart;
blue – for wings;
yellow – for the halo.

With wings and a crown

A crown can be added to the winged heart floating in the air. The simplest option is a crown consisting of a rectangular base and 3 triangles, each with its apex pointing upwards.

The middle triangle should be the highest. The base can have a pattern, for example, several longitudinal wavy lines, many circles, ovals or other figures.

The crown itself can lie directly on the heart or be slightly raised, as if floating in the air.

With wings and a sword

Drawing a winged heart pierced by a sword goes through the following steps:

Draw a circle and then draw a slightly curved vertical line in the middle.
Draw a slanted line that will become a sword.
Draw the heart. You need to try to give it volume.
Draw wings on the sides. They can be any size, depending on the artist's preference: large, small, simple, complex.
Draw the lower part of the cold weapon – its tip. It should be represented as a triangle. In the place where the sword comes out of the heart, add many chaotic broken lines. This will show that the heart was pierced.
Work on the upper part of the sword. Draw an elongated rectangle along the previously drawn auxiliary line. Then draw another rectangle along its contours. In the place where the sword touches the heart, draw several wavy lines that will show that blood is flowing from the wound.
Draw the protective part of the sword. It can be imagined as 2 short lines perpendicular to the sword itself. There should be patterns at the ends of these lines, you can simply twist them into a spiral.
Depict the hilt of a weapon. A great solution would be a whirlpool, represented by many curved lines.
Erase extra lines and color the drawing.

With butterfly wings

The heart will look beautiful if you draw butterfly wings on it.

One of the options is as follows:

Draw the heart using the same principle as in the examples above.
Create a sketch of the left wing. It will be double - consisting of 2 semi-ovals. One semi-oval is located at the bottom, the other - at the top. In the middle of this double wing they connect, not reaching the heart itself.
Similarly to the left, create a sketch of the right wing.
Proceed to decorating both wings. To do this, draw inner contours along the borders. A straight line comes out from the center of the upper left wing and curves in both directions. A little to the left is a small heart. On the lower left wing in the middle there should be a figure similar to a long petal. On the sides of it are 2 arcs, smaller "petals". Under each such "petal" it is necessary to depict 1 small circle. Both right wings are decorated similarly.
