Tips for young artists

To draw beautiful pictures, beginning artists should know a few secrets:

  • The thickness of the line drawn with a felt-tip pen depends on the pressure applied to the tool. The stronger the pressure, the thicker the strokes.
  • The drying time of a painted drawing can be reduced by using a hair dryer. Dry the paper with a weak air flow, holding the hair dryer at least 30 cm away from the paper. Otherwise, the paint may spread.
  • If you need to paint some details in the same color as the background, it is better to mix the paints and get a shade one tone darker. This way the drawn object will stand out better.
  • When coloring a picture with colored pencils, you need to make short strokes. This will make the drawing neater.

Before conducting classes, adults should talk to children about "Good deeds". You need to ask the child what actions can be called good and why. Find out if he has done any good deeds and how his actions helped others. Such a conversation will set the child up for work and will also allow him to come up with his own plot for the drawing.
