One of the options for an original gift for men is bouquets from products. The components that may be included in its composition are selected optionally, depending on the recipient's taste preferences.
Such a bouquet can be made only from alcohol (in this case, it is best to buy miniature bottles with different drinks so that the set does not turn out to be too bulky and heavy) or with the addition of other products - appropriate snacks, vegetables and even fruits, chocolate.
Bouquet of snacks and alcohol
Men's bouquets made from food products are a universal gift that can be given for any occasion: birthday or Valentine's Day, New Year and other celebrations.
Its “foundational” element can be any alcoholic drink – from beer to tequila.
However, if the bottles are large, they will have to be used in minimal quantities so that the entire composition is stable. There is also an option for special bottle packaging, which is discussed below.
The main materials and tools that will be needed to create bouquets are the following:
- Wooden skewers. They come in various diameters (from 2 mm and more) and lengths from 8 to 40 cm. It is best to take the longest ones, as this makes it easier to form a bouquet. Excess ends can always be cut off. Depending on the number of bouquet components, you will need from 10 to 50 pieces.
- Pruning shears, scissors or nippers for trimming.
- A stapler for easy fastening of wrapping paper.
- Wide and narrow tape. If possible, you should also buy green anchor tape, which is used in floristry. It is an adhesive tape with a paper layer.
This material is useful for attaching greenery and vegetables. Instead, you can use green wire (sold in craft stores).

- A hot glue gun will also come in handy for securing nuts and other light elements.
- Materials for decorating a bouquet include twine, ribbons, colored double-sided or corrugated paper, thick paper, chenille fluffy wire (chenille), tinsel and other decorative elements and embellishments.
- Floral foam or polystyrene foam for forming a heavy, voluminous composition in a basket or metal bucket.
With dried fish and beer
To make a simple bouquet with beer, fish and cheese as an appetizer, you will need the following products:
- fish (smoked or dried) with firm flesh, medium size – 4-5 pcs.;
- beer in glass bottles of 0.5 l – 1-3 pcs.;
- smoked cheese in the form of sticks, bars and pigtails.
The process of arranging a bouquet is as follows:
- Since bottled beer is quite heavy, it is necessary to carefully secure it on skewers. To do this, wrap the bottle with wide tape, then place a wooden skewer parallel to its bottom, and wrap it again. To prevent the tape from sticking to your hands, it is recommended to wear thin rubber gloves.
- Repeat securing several more sticks around the circumference of the bottle, wrapping each with at least 1 layer of tape. In total, you need to attach 6-7 skewers. As a result, you will get a kind of frame that will hold the bottle tightly.
- Then you need to wrap all the skewers with tape in several layers, pulling them together so that the free ends come together.
- After that, you can start with the snack - cut the long cheese into pieces 10-15 cm long, string them on sticks. Put several pieces of cheese in the form of bars on one skewer. In the composition, they will look like kebabs.
- Next, you need to pierce the skin of the fish parallel to its spine and insert the skewers.
- To obtain a more "picturesque" composition, pierce a couple of fish in the middle (in the belly). They will be located in the bouquet in a horizontal, "natural" position.
- Now you need to assemble the whole bouquet. To do this, place the beer bottle on the edge of the table so that the skewers are free.
- Place one fish next to the bottle and wrap its skewers together with the bottle skewers.
- In the same way, secure the remaining fish and cheese in the bouquet, and place the horizontally located carcasses in the center. All skewers should be well wrapped with wide tape.
- Next, you need to cut off the excessively long ends of the sticks.
- Now you need to decorate the bouquet. To do this, lay wrapping paper underneath it, fold its edges and form a "cone" open in the center. The edges of the cone can be stapled.
- Then wrap the bottom part of the “cone” tightly with twine and tie it.
- To hide the twine, tie a narrow satin ribbon over it.
With smoked sausage
Men's bouquets of food products look more interesting if you use several types of products that differ in color and size.
So, to make a composition with smoked sausage, you need to select several varieties.
The process of making such a bouquet is not fundamentally different from the previous version:
- The central part of the composition – bottles of alcohol – is attached to skewers, as in the previous case.
- Cut long, thick sticks of smoked sausage in half.
- Next, you need to insert 2 skewers into the cut of the sausage. You need to try to place them at a slight angle, that is, their free ends should diverge in different directions. This will allow you to fix the sausage more securely.
- After that, you can wrap the wooden sticks with tape at their bottom.
- Pierce the long, narrow sausages in the middle with one skewer.
- You can also attach the sausage slices in the package to the stick with tape, or you can do it the other way - glue them with a hot glue gun.
- Place short sausages on skewers, piercing them crosswise rather than lengthwise.
- Next, you need to assemble, secure and decorate the entire composition, as described earlier.
With sausage and vegetables
You can diversify the cheese and sausage bouquet with the help of vegetables and herbs.
For this purpose, select products that can last a long time and not wither:
- fresh rosemary sprigs;
- hot chili peppers (it is better to choose several pods of different colors and large lengths);
- cherry tomatoes on a vine;
- green onion feathers;
- garlic or onion heads;
- bell peppers (no more than 2-3 pieces, otherwise the composition will look bulky);
- broccoli cabbage.
The general assembly of the bouquet is done in the same way as in the basic version.
The vegetable elements are attached as follows:
- Rosemary sprigs are gathered into a bunch, with a skewer running through the middle. They are wrapped with narrow tape, thin wire or green floral tape.
- The hot chili pepper is pierced with two skewers where the green stalk is attached. The free ends of the sticks are wrapped with wide tape. You will need 2-3 sticks to attach the bell peppers.
- It is best to attach the tomatoes to the skewer whole, wrapping them with florist's tape around the branch. You can also pierce the vegetable itself, but in this case the juice will flow out and stain other elements of the bouquet.
- It is enough to pierce the garlic or onion heads (red varieties look best) in the center with one skewer.
- Medium-sized heads of broccoli are cut off and also placed on a skewer.
With nuts and roach
Men's bouquets with fish, the assembly technology of which is described above, can be diversified with snacks from other types of products, for example, nuts: salted pistachios in shells, peanuts, hazelnuts, almonds, peeled walnuts or pine nuts.
There are several ways to attach them to a bouquet:
- Directly in the store packaging. To do this, hide the wooden skewer on the back of the bag in the seam, securing the stick with tape or a hot glue gun.
- Glue the nuts in their shells one by one onto a skewer in the shape of a spikelet (in this case you will also need a hot glue gun).
- Form cones from thick transparent film, into which you can pour nuts of different colors and types. Such a cone is then tied with a ribbon and attached to a skewer with tape. In the overall composition, it looks like a stylized flower.
From crayfish and beer
The principle of making a bouquet of crayfish and beer is no different from the first option. In boiled or smoked crayfish, you need to bend the tail and pierce the body with a skewer, after which all the sticks are fastened into a bouquet with tape or collected in floral foam.
You can additionally decorate such a bouquet in the following way:
- Using olives, each of which is put on a skewer, and then formed into a bunch resembling grapes.
- Lemon wedges, which are also pierced with wooden sticks.
- With sprigs of greenery.
Edible bouquet without alcohol
For those men who do not drink alcohol, you can make an equally interesting bouquet.
So, for lovers of meat products, the central part of the composition can be formed from long sticks of smoked sausage, and cheese and vegetables can be put on skewers as additional decorations. For men with a sweet tooth, another simple option can be offered - a bouquet of sweet bars of different colors in packaging.
The technique of its production is as follows:
- First, you need to glue each bar to a wooden skewer using a hot glue gun or tape. Wooden sticks can be of different lengths.
- Then place a piece of polystyrene or floral foam into the box.
- Stick sticks with sweets into the foam.
- Decorate the empty space between the box and the bouquet elements in one of the ways described below.
If you use long skewers, you can form the same bouquet from sweets as from sausage. Men's bouquets from products, the various methods of making which are described above, are also made in a "vegetarian" version from fruits and berries.
For this, use small apples, tangerines, apricots, peaches, cherries with branches, cut kiwis and pomegranates, oranges and other fruits, putting them on skewers in the same way as other food. The bouquet will be especially beautiful if you cut flowers from fruits using the carving technique.
Unusual bouquet of bacon
This unusual bouquet of bacon is made in the shape of roses.
To make it yourself, you need to do the following:
- First, you need to slice the bacon. They should be thin and long. If you buy ready-made slices, you can skip this step.
- Then you need to form the slices into the shape of a rose flower by rolling them into a spiral.
- To prevent the “rose” from falling apart, pierce its bottom with two toothpicks.
- Next, place the bacon flowers on a rack over a baking dish (to catch any grease) and place them in an oven preheated to 200°C for about 20 minutes, until the meat is a rich red-brown colour.
- Next, you need to clean the top of the rosemary sprigs and plant “roses” on them.
- At the end of the process, collect the branches into a bouquet, fasten them with tape or wire, and wrap them in wrapping paper.
A similar bouquet can be made from smoked sausage without baking.
To do this, you need to do the following:
- Using a sharp knife, cut the base of the flower in the green peppers – the “receptacle” with sepals. It is better to take small peppers with a stalk. Clean out the seeds.
- Cut the smoked sausage into thin circles. In order for the roses to be different, the sausage can be of different shades. It is best to choose those types of meat products that are softer to the touch, as it will be easier to form a flower from them.
- Next, cut the soft processed cheese into cubes and place it in the cavity of the peppers. It will hold the petals of the "rose".
- Now you need to make the rose itself - roll the first piece of sausage into a roll tightly, wrap the next piece around it, and so on. The diameter of the flower should match the inner cavity of the pepper so that the petals do not fall apart.
- After this, the sausage flower must be firmly screwed into the processed cheese.
- Next, pierce the pepper stalk with two skewers, fasten them together with tape at the bottom and wrap the sticks with floral tape. The entire bouquet is formed in the same way as in the previous cases.
Rose petals can also be made from boiled sausage, cut into thin wide strips. Such a bud will hold better.
Bouquet design ideas
You can additionally decorate food bouquets in the following way:
- Using colored polypropylene tape. You can give it a spiral shape by pressing it against one of the blades of the scissors and pulling it down. This ribbon can be tied to the neck of a bottle or to skewers.

- Spirals of chenille wire that can be easily bent by hand. They are inserted into a ready-made composition. For Valentine's Day, a heart can be bent from chenille.
- Using paper roses placed on the neck of the bottle. To make them, you need to cut out petals from double-sided colored paper in the form of a long spiral and wrap it around the neck, securing it with double-sided narrow tape.
- With a helium balloon on a stick.
- Artificial or fresh flowers.
- With colored tissue paper. To add volume, you need to crush it a little and then place it in the empty spaces between the elements of the bouquet.
- With bows made of satin ribbons and other decorative elements.
- With a congratulatory postcard.
A festive, New Year's look can be given to the bouquet with the help of shiny tinsel, which is placed between the elements of the composition. The entire set can be placed in thick paper, a wicker basket, a box, a flowerpot or a metal bucket.
In thick paper
Wrapping bouquets in kraft paper is the simplest and most economical way of decoration. It is a good background for a composition of any shape. Several methods of wrapping can be used.
Option for a small light bouquet with food:
- First, cut a strip of paper about 15-20 cm wide, make cuts along one of the long sides to a depth of 2 cm.
- Then you need to wrap this strip around the bottom of the bouquet and tie it with a rope.
- Next, fold 2 large rectangular pieces of thick paper in half, but not evenly, but slightly diagonally. The protruding corners will form the star-shaped wrapper.
- Wrap one piece of paper around the bouquet, then the second, and tie them at the bottom with a rope.

Option for a tall bouquet:
- First, you need to fold a piece of thick paper measuring about 40x70 cm in half along the long side.
- Then cut one of the corners with a rounding. Do not throw away the rest of the paper. Unfold the paper and place it so that the rounded end is on top.
- After this, place the finished composition on the paper and glue the cut corners in the center with a hot glue gun - one slightly higher and the other lower.
- Then fold the bottom part of the large piece and also glue it in the center.
- After this, simply bring the free edges of the paper together and tie them with ribbon.
In a basket or flowerpot
Men's bouquets made from food differ from ordinary bouquets in their greater weight, so packing them in a basket or decorative metal bucket is one of the most convenient options for compositions that contain several bottles of alcoholic beverages or many components.
In this case, sausage, vegetables and other products can be placed independently - by sticking them on a skewer into a piece of polystyrene or foam - instead of being tied to the bottle with tape. To cover the unsightly top, use thin paper, tinsel and other decorative ornaments.
In the box
To pack a bouquet, you can take large flat boxes in which it will fit completely in a horizontal position, or tall boxes for vertical installation. In order to give them a decorative look, they are wrapped in beautiful shiny paper, and its joints are simply glued with transparent wide tape.
To keep a box with a narrow bottom stable, you can put glass marbles in a net inside. In this case, it is best to stick wooden skewers with food into a piece of polystyrene or floral foam, tightly adjusted to the size of the box. It can be pre-wrapped in colored tissue paper, the edges of which will protrude beautifully from the packaging.
In a flowerpot
If you use a cardboard or plastic flowerpot, you can decorate its outer surface with decorative paper.
The process of manufacturing such packaging is as follows:
- First, fold a square piece of craft paper along one and the other diagonal.
- Then place the flowerpot with the finished bouquet at the intersection of the diagonals.
- Then lift the ends of the paper up and align them on the right and left so that you get a "boat" shape. Fasten the paper at the bottom with a stapler.
- Then bend the corners to the center and also fasten them in pairs with a stapler. The resulting figure will resemble a tie knot.
The tradition of giving men's bouquets came to European culture from the East. And if flower arrangements are still not widespread, then food sets are gaining more and more popularity.
Such a bouquet will be appropriate as a gift for any occasion. For an official event, it can be made only from alcohol, and for a loved one, use components based on the man's personal preferences.
