Tools and materials for the master class on making book binding:
- sheets of paper (any format);
- cardboard;
- a piece of fabric for the cover and scraps to strengthen the binding;
- ruler;
- pencil;
- awl;
- scissors;
- stack (a special or improvised object for “pressing” the folds of sheets).
First we need to prepare a clarifying template with six holes.
With its help we mark the points on the sheets where we will make punctures. For a book of 48 pages we will need 24 sheets of paper. We fold each one in half and with the help of the prepared template we also make holes on the fold.
Next we sew the leaves together. We clamp them and coat them well with glue. 
We strengthen our "folders" at the top and bottom with small rectangular pieces. Leave them to dry.
After that we prepare the cover.
We cover it with fabric. And connect it: we apply an even layer of glue to the first and last pages and glue the cover. 
There is no need to glue it to the end, in the middle, so that the book opens easily.
