  2. Cast on 5 ch with white yarn between the petals.
  3. In the loop of the previous row, cast on 1 hdc. Knit 1 dc1n and 1 dc2n. Form 2 ch, in the next loops make 1 dc2n, 1 dc1n and 1 hdc. Cast on 5 ch and secure 1 sc behind the initial ring.

Step by step knitting of a sunflower

  • The center of the flower is made of yellow yarn. Knit 4 ch, connect them into a ring with 1 sst. Tie the ring with 7 sc, finish the row with sst. Break the thread and fasten it on the wrong side of the work, hide the end.
  • Attach the chosen colored thread and knit 4 ch. Secure the resulting chain to the core with sst. Knit an additional 2 sst through the loops of the previous row.

  • Immediately after the large petal, join with white thread and knit 2 sc. Next, from one loop, make 1 dc1n and 1 dc2n. From the next loop, make 1 dc2n and 1 dc3n. Knit the petal in reverse order.

  • Separately, you need to make the sepal. Cast on 5 ch from green yarn. Close into a ring and knit sc to the desired height. Finish the work with sst, secure the thread on the back side and cut.
  • Insert the pistil into the snow-white cover of the calla, folded with the sharp end up, make a small overlap. Insert the blank into the sepal and secure with a needle and thread. The luxurious calla flower is ready.
