Crochet flowers. Patterns and description for beginners

Even a beginner can crochet beautiful flowers using a simple pattern. Iris, silk, acrylic, flax, wool, and mixed threads are most often used for work.

Roses, daisies, sunflowers, carnations made of iris or acrylic can become original decorations for hats, sweaters, bags, children's clothes. No less original is a flower brooch or pendant knitted from shiny silk.

An everlasting bouquet of flowers made of linen or wool thread will decorate the interior of a country house. To create a bright bouquet, you can use the remains of yarn, combining multi-colored elements into a single composition.

Master class on crocheting plumeria

Plumeria is an exotic plant with large flowers. They have a bright yellow core and delicate white petals, so we select yellow and white threads for work.

In the master class on making plumeria, acrylic yarn “Baby” and hook No. 4 were used:

1. To create the central part of the flower from yellow yarn, cast on 6 ch, close them into a ring by knitting 1 sst.

3. Once again, dial 6 ch and make 1 sc behind the ring. This is the base of the petal.

5. We will not need more yellow thread. Pull and cut it, fasten it on the wrong side of the work. Attach with white thread in any part of the workpiece.
6. Cast on 5 ch with white yarn between the petals.
7. In the loop of the previous row, cast on 1 hdc. Knit 1 dc1n and 1 dc2n. Form 2 ch, in the next loops make 1 dc2n, 1 dc1n and 1 hdc. Cast on 5 ch and secure 1 sc behind the initial ring.

8. Also, according to the indicated pattern, tie the remaining 4 petals.

9. Insert the hook under the chain of 5 ch from the front side of the work and make 5 sc. In the first loop make 2 dc1n. Next knit 1 dc1n and 1 dc2n. Under the chain of 2 ch knit 2 dc2n, 2 ch, 2 dc2n.
10. Make 1 dc2n, 1 dc1n, from the next loop knit 2 dc1n. And again make 5 sc under the chain of 5 ch. Finish by knitting 1 dc.

11. Using the previously indicated pattern, tie the remaining petals. They will be slightly concave in shape. The exotic plumeria flower is ready.

Step by step knitting of a sunflower

Crochet flowers, the pattern of which is described below, can be knitted by beginner needlewomen. Original bright sunflowers will decorate the interior, lift the mood, bring comfort and warmth to the house. Such large sunny flowers will be an excellent motif for a tablecloth, blanket or cape.

To complete the sample work, acrylic yarn "Baby" of 3 colors was used: yellow, black and green, and hook No. 4:

1. The central part of the sunflower is made with black threads. Cast on 4 ch, close them into a ring with sst.
2. Knit 5 ch and make 1 sc1n into the ring.

4. To knit the second row of the flower core, make 3 ch, and then knit 3 ss1n into the air arch.

5. In each arch knit 4 dc1n. At the end secure the thread with dc.

6. To knit the sunflower petals, add a yellow thread to the work. Make 5 ch.
7. In the next 2 loops make 2 dc2n. Then dial 5 ch and secure them with dc.

8. Knit a connecting loop and then make the next 7 petals one by one.

9. To give the petals a finished shape, they need to be tied. To do this, knit 3 sc and 1 hdc in the right part of the first arch.
10. Above the bottommost column make 1 dc and 1 dc2n, and above the second one – 1 dc2n and 1 dc.
11. In the left arch of the petal, make 1 sc and 3 dc.

12. Tie all the petals of the sunflower in this way. Cut the thread, pull it through the loop and secure it on the back of the product.

13. If desired, dial 30 ch from the green thread, knit back sc. On the resulting sunflower stem, knit leaves in any known way.

Pansies

Touching pansies bloom in street flowerbeds from early spring to late autumn. The color range is lilac, yellow, blue, orange, white. It is easy to crochet these delicate flowers.

The simple knitting pattern, placed further in the article, describes in detail all stages of the work:

• The center of the flower is made of yellow yarn. Knit 4 ch, connect them into a ring with 1 sst. Tie the ring with 7 sc, finish the row with sst. Break the thread and fasten it on the wrong side of the work, hide the end.
• Attach the chosen colored thread and knit 4 ch. Secure the resulting chain to the core with sst. Knit an additional 2 sst through the loops of the previous row.

• To make the next petal, start by knitting 2 ch, then in the first base knit 1 dc1n and 1 dc2n. In the next loop, make 1 dc2n and 1 dc1n, 2 ch and secure the thread with sst.
• Make 2 dc, cast on 2 ch. Knit in one loop 1 dc1n, 1 dc2n, 1 ch and join to the work 1 dc. From the next loop knit another petal, but first knit 1 dc2n, and then 1 dc1n.
• Make 2 sst for the previous row and repeat the petal as in step 3
• The main part of the flower is ready. Cast on 8 ch. In the initial loop, make a dc3n. Knit another 7 dc3n from one loop, finish with 7 ch, join the work with 1 dc. In the next loop, make another such petal. Cut the working thread, fasten it on the back of the flower.

• Immediately after the large petal, join with white thread and knit 2 sc. Next, from one loop, make 1 dc1n and 1 dc2n. From the next loop, make 1 dc2n and 1 dc3n. Knit the petal in reverse order.
• Make the next two petals as follows: knit 2 sc, 1 dc1n, 1 dc2n, in reverse order make 1 dc1n, 2 sc, dc.
• Tie the next petal as indicated in point 7.
• Fasten the cut thread to the back of the work, tucking the end inside.

Calla lilies crochet

Graceful and delicate calla lilies are magnificent in a separate bouquet and in a flower arrangement. Since ancient times, they have been considered wedding flowers. According to legend, the plants protect against diseases and quarrels, bring happiness in marriage. Crocheted calla lilies will become a kind of talisman, a talisman for home and family.

To make snow-white calla lilies, yarn of 3 colors is used: white, yellow and green:

• The pistil of the plant is made of yellow yarn. Cast on 7 ch, connect into a ring and knit in a spiral sc, without adding loops. The length of the pistil depends on the size of the future flower.
• The flower cover is knitted from white thread. Cast on 7 ch, connect into a ring using 1 sst, knit in a circle with sc. Make 2 sc in every 10th loop. Complete the work to the required size.
• In the last row, create a sharp end from the working thread: knit 1 dc1n, 1 dc2n, 1 dc3n, dc2n, 1 dc1n, sc. Add a few more sc and finish the work with sst. The flower cover turns out slightly concave.

• Separately, you need to make the sepal. Cast on 5 ch from green yarn. Close into a ring and knit sc to the desired height. Finish the work with sst, secure the thread on the back side and cut.
• Insert the pistil into the snow-white cover of the calla, folded with the sharp end up, make a small overlap. Insert the blank into the sepal and secure with a needle and thread. The luxurious calla flower is ready.

Roses

Rose motifs are used to decorate accessories, interiors, and clothing. The variety of shades allows you to create amazing compositions. Proud and delicate roses look great on bags, hats, jackets, sweaters, and children's clothing.

There are many options for knitting this bright flower. Some methods require experience and certain skills, but many patterns are available for beginners to work with.

One of the simple and quick options for crocheting roses is offered below:

1. Cast on a chain of 50 ch.
2. In the second row, knit, alternating 1 sc, 1 ch.
3. In the third row, in the free space under each air loop, knit 1 dc1n, 3 dc2n, 1 dc1n. Finish the row with pscbn. Break the thread, fasten on the back side of the work.
4. The knitted strip itself rolls into a spiral. Twist the path from the loops into a neat flower, sew with a thread in the color of the resulting rose.
5. To create a larger flower, you need to knit the third row as indicated in point 2, and the fourth - as in point 3.

Lily of the valley

Forest lilies of the valley are associated with the beginning of spring, fresh greenery, and the sun. A scattering of tiny snow-white bells delight with their appearance and aroma.

Crochet flowers, the knitting pattern of which is offered further in the article, look natural and very touching. When doing this work, there is one mandatory condition - you need to knit very tightly so that the bells hold their shape.

Cotton, silk or other lint-free threads are ideal for working on such small details:

• Start the work by creating an open flower cup. It is knitted in a spiral. Cast on 2 ch, 6 sc in the second loop.
• Make 2 sc in one loop. Repeat 6 times.
• In the next row, knit 1 sc, 1 dc1n. They also need to be repeated 6 times.
• From rows 4 to 7, knit 18 sc.
• In the next row, knit 1 sc, decrease 1 sc. Repeat 6 times.

• The unblown buds of our lily of the valley are knitted in a spiral. To do this, rows 1 through 6 must be knitted in the same way as in the previous pattern.
• In the seventh row, make 1 sc, decrease 1 dc1n.

• In the next row, decrease 6 times with dc1n. Fill the bud with any available filler: cotton wool, synthetic padding, foam rubber. Tighten the working thread, cut, secure.

Crochet flowers, the knitting pattern for which is presented further in the article, can easily fit into a large piece of fabric, such as a blanket, bedspread or tablecloth:

• Work begins with the flower core, which is knitted from yellow yarn. Form a sliding loop with a diameter of 1 cm and secure 6 sc on it. Carefully tighten the loop, evenly distribute the knitted columns on it.
• From each loop of the first row, knit 1 sc. Do not add loops while working so that the core of the chamomile turns out slightly curved.
• In the next row, knit 1 sc in the odd loops, 2 sc in the even ones. Give the center of the flower the necessary shape. Cut the thread and fasten on the back.
• At any point, attach a white thread and knit 7 ch.

• In the second loop of the chain, knit 1 sc, then make 2 hdc. Knit alternately 1 dc1n, 1 hdc, 1 sc.
• Join the core with ss. Immediately knit 7 ch. Knit the next petals similarly to the first one from each loop of the outer row of the flower center. Finish the work with ss. Cut the thread and secure it on the wrong side.

Crocuses

Crocuses are one of the first spring flowers. They appear on thawed patches when the snow has not yet melted. A bouquet of delicate crocheted crocuses will be a good gift for your mother, grandmother, or friend.

To complete this project you will need pastel colored yarn for the petals and green yarn for the stem and leaves:

• The crocus cup consists of six identical leaves. Cast on 11 ch. Make 2 sc in the first loop. In the next two loops of the air chain make 2 psdc1n. In each of the next 5 loops make 1 dc1n. In the outer loop knit 5 dc1n.
• The chain of air loops is finished. Turn around and do the work in the opposite direction. In the outer loop, knit 5 dc1n. In each subsequent loop, alternately perform 2 hdc and 2 sc. In the last loop, knit 1 dc.
• Work on the second row begins with making 1 lifting loop. In each column of the previous row, knit 1 sc. And again knit 2 psc1n, one in a loop.
• In the next 5 loops, knit 1 sc. Then in 6 loops, make 2 sc. Finish the row in the same way as on the opposite side. Make 2 sc and 2 dc. In the outer loop, knit 2 sc.

• Make five more petals using the pattern described above.
• Assemble the flower cup. To do this, sew three petals together in the shape of a trefoil. Connect the remaining three petals like a trefoil and sew them on, shifting them slightly around the central axis. Form a concave shape for the petals.
• You can sew a bead, a small button or a seed bead into the middle of the cup.
• To form the stem, thread a thick wire through the center of the flower, secure it, coat it with glue and wrap it with green yarn.

Hydrangea

Hydrangea pleases with its lush bloom all summer long. The spherical heads of delicate flowers look great in a bouquet, and the variety of shades is a pleasant surprise.

• To create a lush hydrangea flower, you need to knit 15-20 elements.
