The main pattern starts with the 2nd loop of the diagram.
In every 2nd row, close 1 loop 5 times.
At a height of 11 cm from the beginning of knitting, close in every 2nd row 2 times 4 loops, 3 times 3 loops.
Close the remaining loops. The hood is ready.

Wash all the parts in soapy water, dry and steam. Start assembling from the shoulder seams. Sew the hood along the back seam and sew it to the neckline, leaving 7 loops on both sides from the edge of the shelf. Then sew in both sleeves. Make the side seams and sew on buttons and snaps.

This outfit will suit a child of any age. You just need to increase the pattern by a few centimeters. For the smallest size, you will need 4 skeins of single-color yarn and 4-5 small buttons.

The model is good because the pants can be sewn along the crotch seam, or made with fasteners to change the diaper without taking off the entire jumpsuit. To do this, knit a placket for buttons or snaps along the inside of the pants. Snaps are more convenient to use, since you do not need to knit loops for them.

Openwork transformable jumpsuit

The transformer jumpsuit is an envelope that can be turned into a full-fledged jumpsuit using fasteners. The advantage of the model is that it can be used for a long time.

Assembly of the finished product:

perform side seams;
sew the back 44 cm starting from the neckline;
sew or tie on a button placket at the front, along the crotch seam on the back and along the bottom edge of the overalls.

A newborn baby grows quickly, gaining up to 25 cm in height during the first year of life. To make the jumpsuit last longer, you can use several tricks from experienced mothers.

Secrets:

Knit a loose elastic band on the sleeves and trousers twice as long. When the child is small, you can wear clothes with a cuff. Then straighten the cuffs if necessary. This will add length to the product.
It can be made on folds of 2 to 6 cm in size in the waist area and on the rompers. This method is not suitable if the product is knitted from thick yarn or with a convex pattern, because it can cause discomfort for the child.
