Women's hooded sweatshirt

Knitting patterns vary depending on what shape and size you want the hood. This detail in clothing looks organically on children and teenagers, but has no age restrictions.
The hood will save you from bad weather and help you keep your hair in place.
One of the simplest and most understandable ways to knit a hood is to take a rectangular pattern as a basis, and then sew the resulting hood along one of the sides. It is important to note that the hood is created separately from the blouse, the required number of loops is collected (it is most convenient to use straight knitting needles). The number of loops is determined by the length of the neck of the blouse, with a small gap for inserting the fasteners.
The “height of the rectangle” is determined by the length from the base of the neck to the crown of the head plus 2-4 cm. It is important to knit the hood with the same pattern that was used to create the main product - the blouse.
Raglan jacket with buttons
The raglan cut is a connection of the sleeve with the shoulder part of the front, such a cut looks neat. A raglan blouse with buttons is somewhat different from a pullover of the same shoulder cut, since at the end the knitted row is not closed into a ring. This type of blouse is created using rows with turns, strap loops and edge loops.
Example calculation for size “M” — for 46-48
As a rule, for size 'M' the neck circumference is 36 cm, this value varies depending on the size of the neckline. Cast on 90 loops, adding 2 edge loops and 7-10 for the placket - this distance is necessary for knitting the slits and buttons. Total: 90 + 2 + 10 = 102 loops.
Accordingly, the strips remain on both sides of the row. It is important to place the buttonholes at the same distance from each other, so experienced craftsmen advise recording the row indents. In this case, there will be 86 loops on the raglan line. It is also worth considering that this number may vary depending on the style of the bundle.
Blouse with jacquard
Knitted blouses have a huge variety of jacquard patterns. The patterns and descriptions for women are simple and clear, but if you prepare in advance - print or draw a pattern of the ornament on checkered paper, then the instructions for making a blouse with jacquard will be understandable even to a child.
The main advice from the masters is to visualize the pattern scheme in the drawing, prepare all the necessary colors of yarn in advance, and the material should be the same for each color.
Materials and techniques
In this example, threads with a composition of 80% cotton 20% silk are used. Calculations are given for size “S” — 40-42. For the front and back rows, front and back loops will be used respectively. The pattern is created according to the conditional scheme of the front surface. One cell of the conditional pattern is equal to 1 loop and 1 row. Front rows are calculated from right to left, and vice versa — back rows.
In order to change the color during the knitting process, the threads are placed crosswise on the back side so that no gaps are visible from the front side.
In height, you will have to knit 130 rows. At the beginning of the row, after the edge loops, two loops are knitted with a joint draw. The knitting density with such a composition of threads should correspond to the density of 15 loops and 23 rows on a sample of 100 cm.
Blouse with a round yoke
It is not difficult to create a blouse with knitting needles for women, especially when all the necessary patterns and descriptions are attached. So, to knit a blouse with a rounded yoke, you will first need to choose an openwork pattern that widens at the bottom. If you are creating a gift for a loved one, and you understand that in the process the blouse will have to be adjusted to size, it is more convenient to use acrylic yarn of medium thickness.
It is more convenient to start knitting from the neck, gradually adding pattern elements or repeating them.
The diagram suggests creating additional patterns in 7, 13, 21 and further through a step of 10 rows. The pattern rapport for a blouse with a yoke is 6 loops, the neck usually takes 144 loops - that is, 24 rapports. The armholes for the yoke are created along the height from the neck to the armpits, the outer diameter is the chest circumference together with the arms.
After the yoke is knitted, it is worth starting to create the lower part of the blouse, it is worth knitting with the front surface. In the process of knitting, you can add and subtract parts of the pattern, which will not spoil the appearance of the product in any way, as a result, the blouse will turn out seamless and neat.
Fitted jacket
A slightly elongated and fitted jacket is a feminine blouse that you can create with your own hands on knitting needles using a short description and a diagram. Such a wardrobe item is suitable for both romantic dates and business meetings.

Materials and knitting techniques
The example suggests using 100% cotton threads, testing the density on an area of 100 cm, stockinette stitch on 4 mm knitting needles, 21 loops and 28 rows. It also suggests creating a jacket with buttons. Knitting begins with short rows of the placket, where for every twentieth front row, 5 front loops are taken, then knit in the opposite direction, performing 1 row on all loops according to the pattern.
Increases are made with yarn overs, starting each new row with yarn overs knitted from the wrong side, crossing the loops, and the added loops are knitted with the front surface. Approximately 8 cm from the cast-on edge, in the next front row, decrease one loop for each section with loops on the front side. Then decreases are repeated every 4 cm 6 more times.
This creates a fitted part of the jacket. For a more effective look, you can add loops for a belt or sash to this part, which will make the waist even thinner visually.
Poncho jacket
One of the fashion trends of 2018 is oversize poncho jackets made with fluffy yarn, you can add decorations from “pearl” beads or “metallic” thread to the look. To create a fluffy jacket, stocking knitting is used, and all the edge elements: cuffs, jacket bottom, strips, are knitted with a 1:1 elastic band.
The knitting density is 15 loops and 29 rows per square with a side of 10 cm. In order to knit the back, you will need to cast on 160-170 loops from two balls (subject to metallic decoration) on 5 mm diameter knitting needles, knit about 3 cm with a 1:1 elastic band, then switch to knitting needles with a slightly larger diameter, continuing in the stocking knitting technique.
After 50 cm from the cast-on row, close the shoulder bevels with seven loops. Close the loops of the neckline and back. To design the left shelf, cast on 70 loops on 5 mm knitting needles also from two balls. The technique is used to create the back, do not forget about the shoulder bevel at the beginning of the front rows.
Open back pullover
An unusual sweater for a woman with an open back is an elegant and bold element of the image. This product is easy to knit on knitting needles, the pattern is simple, as for a regular pullover, and the description of the back is presented below.
The back is knitted taking into account the deep neckline, at a height of approximately 18 cm, which is equal to 53-54 front rows, 6 loops are set aside, first the right side is finished, then the neckline is rounded, 2 * 2 loops are set aside on the inside of the neck for every second row, then 1 loop is also decreased for every second row, in the next, then in every 4th and in every sixth row.
Write down all decreases separately, as the left side must be done absolutely symmetrically. The elastic is knitted alternately - two loops of the front surface, two loops of the back. Assembly of the product requires special attention - the seams of the front and back are connected with a single seam - loop in loop. The sleeves are sewn in with side seams and sleeve seams.
Pullover with braids
A pullover with braid patterns is an excellent relief product that will keep you warm in bad weather and decorate your image. Acrylic threads are used to make a women's sweater with knitting needles.
Description and diagram
Pullover size 46, knitting needles 4.5 mm. On the front there are also knitted braids, the back is simple, knitted with the front surface. Knitting the front is the first stage of creating a pullover, 81 loops are collected + 2 edge loops. Knitted with a 1 * 1 elastic band - one front and one back, the elastic band is 4 cm high. After knitting the elastic band, loops are obtained. The difference is 19 loops. Use a hook to cross the loops.
The crossings are done in 10-row increments. The edged elastic is neatly and evenly sewn to the neck, the holes in the elastic should be covered. The work of creating neat and symmetrical braids, although painstaking, is worth the time spent, as a result you will get a beautiful, and most importantly voluminous product, a universal element of any girl's wardrobe!
Zigzag Pullover
Yarn overs around one loop and decreases from the other create a spectacular geometric pattern "zig-zag check mark". Knitting starts from three loops, two parts are knitted for the front and back. Yarn overs and decreases are added before and after the edge loops. In the purl rows, yarn overs are knitted by crossing.
The easiest way is to knit a zigzag pattern in a triangle shape (as when making a scarf), until there are 85 loops on the needle (41 cm on thin yarn). The joining line of the zigzag is two loops, not reaching the edge, are knitted together, the edge loops are also knitted together, the next (non-edge) loops are also knitted together.
Next, the product is knitted in height, connecting according to the already described principle with a decrease in the middle loops.
V-neck pullover
A classic women's pullover, knitted on small-diameter knitting needles with an elegant V-neckline, looks perfect with most styles of skirts and trousers; the pattern and description offered for this pullover suggest using stocking stitch. 
The vertical stripe that decorates the front side of the pullover neatly wraps around the neckline, which gives the product a special beauty.
Rear end
To make the back, cast on 114 loops, knit a 2*2 elastic band - two front loops and two back loops, 5 cm high. For the outer row, add 2 loops, continue with stocking stitch at a height of 42 cm from the cast-on row. The beginnings of the next two rows are closed with armholes of 10 loops, and then continue knitting at a height of 18 cm.
The center loops of the neckline are marked in a special way, these markers will tell you at what level to place the neckline on the front part. The remaining loops are closed.
Front part
It is knitted in the same way as for the back, in the next front row, 51 front loops are taken, the set is repeated 3 times 2 * 2, the row is closed with a front loop. The central 14 loops for the elastic are set aside from the cast-on edge. And for the next front row, the creation of the V-shaped neckline begins: several loops of the front row are knitted up to the last two before the elastic.
Sleeves
For the sleeves, cast on 58 loops, knit the first 5 cm with a rib pattern (similar to how it was done for the back), add 2 loops in the last row, continue knitting with a stocking stitch with one increase in every eighth row 7 times, then the number of rows decreases. At a height of 57 cm from the beginning, the loops are closed.
Openwork pullover with knitting needles
A light, openwork pullover with knitting needles is a universal item in your wardrobe. An elongated cut, a slightly loose oversize on you, a thin belt in the same tone as the pullover - everything you need for a light romantic look.
To create an openwork pattern, 2 loops are thrown onto one row of 1 front loop, the connection is made together, it is brought out behind the back walls of the loops, and repeated several times until the last loop of the row.
To create the front part of the pullover, cast on 92 stitches on 4 mm diameter knitting needles, knit about 2 cm of openwork pattern, then switch to 4.5 mm diameter knitting needles, continue the height of 48 cm, from the cast-on edge.
After 60 cm from the cast-on row for the neck opening, the first 29 loops of the row are knitted in the next front row, 18 are transferred to an additional knitting needle, the row ends with a thread from another skein. The front parts are connected. The back is knitted exactly the same as the front until the beginning of the shoulder bevel.
The beveled lines are made in the same way, for the neckline, 18 loops are transferred to the center, also on an additional knitting needle. In the neckline line, in the next purl row, the sides are closed - first six loops, then 5 more, sewn with a thick needle.
To create the sleeves, use smaller knitting needles - 4 mm. Make four rows of openwork pattern, switch to thicker knitting needles - 4.5 mm. Continue knitting, adding loops to the pattern. About 26 cm from the cast-on row, decrease 1 loop on each side and in each row, repeat this until the loops are closed.
Blouse with a wavy pattern
