Photo

The art of photography is a modern form of fine art of creating artistic photographs.

The word "photography" comes from the Greek "phōs" or "phōtos" (light) and "graphein" (to write or record). The word itself, a neologism, in French "photographie" and in English "photograph", was coined in 1839 by the physicist, chemist, inventor and astronomer John Herschel.
